Fiction

In the middle of the summer we created a world of darkness.

We wrote the words freely and made confessions we would not make to anyone else. We kept revealing and reliving until suddenly there was nothing.

By then it was summer again.

It had been a year and that whole time, that monument of imagination collapsed right in front of our eyes. Fiction had finally lost to reality.

  1. Never. Ever. Ever. -ever let reality to outwin your fiction. It’s better living in our own little Neverlands than facing the free and confessionate world of summer.

However, some may disagree and say that we all need a bit of realism now and then.

We get it. You sure get it. Don’t allow it to fully outwin you.

  2. Let’s drink to that! Cheers!

  3. Fiction is sometimes, indeed, better.
But when a dream or two, become a reality, fiction is definitely outplaced. It’s subjective really. I believe living in your own, small world is better when the real world slaps you to death. And then, when the fantasy becomes a reality, embrace it. With arms, wide open..

  4. i believe we’re all saying the same thing, in different ways :) I like that
